Theia Deeps Continues to Expand
Summary
The Theia Deeps story just got bigger!
We have released assay results from three more holes in the Theia Deeps diamond drilling program, and the results continue to demonstrate what this system is shaping up to be.
All three holes: AMRCD262, AMRCD376 and AMRCD378 returned broad zones of high-grade gold mineralisation beyond the base of the current April 2026 Mineral Resource shell. Every single one.
The standout is AMRCD378, which returned 52.75m at 4.67g/t Au from 445.25m including 0.34m at 477g/t Au. That kind of high-grade hit within such a broad zone of mineralisation is exactly what this program was designed to find.
AMRCD376 added further confidence, returning 45m at 1.39g/t Au from 389m and 36m at 1.00g/t Au from 302m, the latter supporting existing Inferred Mineral Resources within the MRE shell, while the deeper intervals push well beyond it.
AMRCD262 continued the trend at depth with 25m at 1.68g/t Au from 546m and 25m at 0.79g/t Au from 581m. When those intervals are bulked together, they return 136m at 0.76g/t Au from 470m. That's a lot of gold a long way below the current resource.
Managing Director Marc Ducler summed it up well:
"The Theia Deeps drill program, which has now been extended to 21 holes for 11,000m, continues to show tremendous potential for additional growth at Theia, with the program targeting further high-grade extensions to the Theia resource at depth and along strike. These latest assay results from AMRCD262, AMRCD376 and AMRCD378 have all demonstrated broad zones of high-grade gold mineralisation beyond the base of the current April 2026 Mineral Resource shell."
Why does this matter?
Every hole drilled below the current resource shell is telling the same story, the Theia mineralised system is significantly larger than what's currently captured in the MRE. For a project already sitting on 1.4Moz at Theia alone, results like these raise a simple but important question: how much bigger can this get?
The fact that the program has been expanded from 6 holes to 21 holes mid-drill is the clearest signal yet that the team on the ground likes what they're seeing. Resource extensions at depth don't just add ounces, they have the potential to reshape the economics of the entire project.
13 holes completed. The program expanded from an original 6 holes (3,000m) to 21 holes (11,000m).
And it doesn't stop at Mandilla, Marc also mentioned that exploration is set to recommence at the Kamperman deposit at Feysville in the September Quarter, with heritage surveys for the Spargoville programs also scheduled.
The second half of 2026 is shaping up to be a very busy period for Astral.
