Astral Resources has announced the execution of a Land Use Agreement (LUA) with the Marlinyu Ghoorlie Native Title Claimant Group, covering the Mandilla and Spargoville tenements located 70km south of Kalgoorlie.

For those tracking the Mandilla DFS story, this is a significant moment. Following the signing of a previous LUA over the Feysville tenements in October 2025, today’s agreement means that every tenement incorporated in the Mandilla DFS is now covered by a Land Use Agreement.

That’s not a small thing. It’s the kind of foundational work that needs to be in place before a project like this can move from feasibility into development, and it’s now done.

The agreement establishes a cooperative framework built on goodwill, mutual respect and mutual recognition, covering heritage survey protocols, site protection activities, clearance procedures for mining, and opportunities for Marlinyu Ghoorlie People to participate in Mandilla’s activities.

The Mandilla DFS is scheduled for completion in the March Quarter 2027. The project underpins a 1.74Moz resource and a PFS that returned an NPV of $1.4 billion at base case gold price, rising to $2.9 billion at A$6,250/oz.
